Production-Puff drawing for advertisement

 After drawing over the image for my ad, and editing a area for me to add a puff, I also wanted the puff to be a hand drawn image of Santa.

I started drawing in procreate a broad design of him and began getting frustrated and played with idea of drawing a logo.

I came up with this and frankly I thought it ugly and lazy, so I went back to my original idea but instead of drawing straight into the app, I sketched out what I wanted first.

This was the sketch I came up with and uploaded it to Procreate to draw.

I finished the coloring, but the area for the puff I added was black, and the light blue background in the image heavily contrasted it in a negative way

I changed the background to black and uploaded it into the area of InDesign

With additional captions this is the final image for my ad
