Planning- Article names

 For my table of contents I  needed to come up with specific articles that could fit the theme of a holiday issue magazine. I came up with the general rule of coming up with a total of 12 articles throughout the whole issue of the magazine including the feature article.

By the time I came up with the original feature article I needed to decide the general contents and names of 11 other articles all fitting a holiday and Christmas theme.

After brainstorming for a while these were the final decisions for the article names I came up with

1. Naughty or ice - Talking about the ice cream flavors that are popular during the winter in Florida because the location allows the people to enjoy cold treats compared to other countries

2. Decor or Dinner- The trend of using food as a decoration like popcorn as tinsel and discussing how focusing on the look of food could possibly take away the value of a meal

3. He sees you when you’re sleeping he knows when you’re hungry- An allusion to the holiday song "Santa Clause is coming to town" to probably highlight a specific chef or influencer

4. Turkey or Ham? The ultimate meat showdown- A article talking about the rivalry of the most popular main dishes in Christmas dinner

5. The Big screen makes everything look good- Talking about how important Christmas movies are through that time period and listing the most iconic dishes shown in classic movies

6. I saw mommy drinking hot chocolate- Another allusion to a Christmas song "I saw mommy kissing Santa Clause " To suggest a hot chocolate recipe which and a drink that is popular during the season

7. The hypnosis of the red swirl- An article relating to the popularity of the candy cane treats that are in a similar swirl pattern as a hypnosis swirl, jokingly hinting at the reason why is popular is because it's hypnosis

8. Is it the North pole or the sunshine state?- Discussing how Florida over compensates in decorating due to the no snow get

9. Should Santa get Doordash? - Talking about traditional in store shopping dying out

10. “Can Ai replace home cooked meals?”- A relevant take on how artificial intelligence is taking over aspects in everyday lives, including the holiday spirit

11. 15 cookie decorating tips that’ll wow family and friends!- An easy recipe list to end the issue off in a lighthearted note
